I listen to FTRE & Ronny &Ramage every week, whilst out walking my dog. I’ve listened to both from the very beginning, I think FTRE is in its eighth year now. I got to say, I enjoy both pods, Mike’s rants on FTRE amuse me and the Tucker brothers on R&R are pretty knowledgeable about both WFC and the game of football in general.
Does anyone else listen to them?

Yes I have started to listen to from the rookery end for about the last ten games. I really enjoy it and find it quite cathartic after a defeat.

I only really watch podcasts pre-season when there is nothing else going on - FromTheRookeryEnd is really good for that!

    I personally prefer Youtube vlogs:

During the season, I occasionally watch that WD18 channel on Youtube which is okay to watch after a winning game - definitely not as good as ArsenalFanTV though

Paul Muzzy on Youtube also captures the game well (including the atmosphere)

I listen to From the Rookery End most weeks. I prefer the features about the club to the match analysis. There's one newish guy (Colin?) who seems to know nothing about football whatsoever but gets large chunks of time to analyse the games. A particular nugget of his a while back was that Doucouré doesn't run around much, just holds his position in front of the back four.

Colin is a big Watford fan and has been going for many years. Also an Actor I believe? I think his input is decent and balanced? Think that’s a little harsh, personally.

I've always found fans podcasts self indulgent and largely tedious. Is Watford Fans TV the one that's hosted by a 12 year old?

Why the issue with his age?I think he comes across as a passionate and knowledgeable Watford supporter. I wish there were more like him instead of the majority Watford fans who quietly huff and groan at matches

If anyone has ever listened to a podcast that worth listening to, (all the WFC ones are painful), on any subject I'd be very happy to hear it. I'm either unlucky or too picky.

    I enjoy From the Rookery.
Considering most are recorded just after the game when emotions are high I find it well balanced - and the general WFC related topics and interviews are pretty good.

From The Rookery End was nominated as Best Club Podcast at the Football Supporters' Federation awards. Hornet Heaven won silver for Best Sports Podcast at the British Podcast Awards.

    Both worth a go.

I've got an iPhone so I use the built-in Podcasts app. With each update it's either becoming less intuitive, or I'm getting thicker. My daughter, Endean, is adamant it's the latter.

I've heard people talk about acast and audioboom, so I might give those a go.

If it's a football podcast you want, my go to is The Football Ramble - pretty funny and good personalities along with actual decent football knowledge. Also enjoy their 'spinoff' called On the Continent which is a football podcast that is entirely about European football.

Good shout. The Peter Beardsley monologues are brilliant - especially this episode’s introduction of his wife into the story. Joyous.

It is brilliant, isn't it. You've probably heard this but I defy anyone to listen to episode 52 (between roughly 13.20 and 20.00) without pi55ing themselves laughing - https://athleticomince.com

I normally quite like From The Rookery End, but in recent times, since they became "award winning", they've been getting gradually increasingly smug, foppish, middle class and condescending.

I was particularly disgusted with one of them who announced this week that he'd be missing the Newcastle game (off on some luxury foreign jaunt apparently) and was actually glad to be missing it, because he just couldn't get the enthusiasm up to go these days.

All the people, like us Kremlins, who'd LOVE to go to a game but are priced out and this little lord Fauntleroy, who can afford to pay hundreds of pounds for a season ticket, finds it a little too tiresome to bother toddling along to the jolly old match and will leave his seat empty and the team unsupported instead.

    It's gutting really.
