Excellent! I just wanted to let you know about a comment i got after i put a wfc related pic on the Watford memories FB page.. "Fry days step up. Everyone in Watford shirts taking the piss out of opposition fans. Brilliant. They have no idea what to make of Muslim chip salespeople giving them grief. Love love Fry days"
I will be pleasantly surprised, nay ecstatic, if we win today. I do not expect my current mood to alter by 4.50pm.
Leicester 1 Watford 3. Troy, Pererya and Gray to score. Deeney to start alongside Gray and lead us into a fine run of form that'll see us safely finish in mid table.
I'm getting a bit envious of Brighton to be honest. Two nil down after 8mins, and yet they're still giving it a real go.
Deeney on his own. Karnezis in goal. Hm. Watford 30Karnezis 2Janmaat 13Wagué 27Kabasele 22Zeegelaar 23Watson 16Doucouré 28Carrillo 37Pereyra 11Richarlison 9Deeney Substitutes 5Pr*dl 6Mariappa 17Sinclair 18Gray 25Holebas 29Capoue 33Okaka
Is Silva purposely trying to go against what seems to work well for us. Cannot understand some of these decisions. I hope Silva knows something that we don't but all signs point to an extremely comfortable afternoon for Leicester, and this line up confirms it for me.
Bachman on bench. No Holebas. I worry about Zeegelaar against Mahrez. Love or Hate Silva, there’s no denying he has been desperately unlucky with injuries.
As predicted by everyone Deeney on his own up front. Watson plays as well as both our hopeless fullbacks and as a bonus the Greek chap in goal. We’ve lost this before we start.
From watford website Subs | Bachmann (GK), Pr*dl, Mariappa, Sinclair, Gray, Capoue, Okaka. No LB sub.
What would you change? Given that he was never going to go 2 upfront away at a Leicester that love to attack.
Pereyra at 10 is the only glimmer of hope in a lineup that has Karnesiz (pen on Vardy inc.), Watson, and Deeney (on his own). Hope I'm wrong about the last three.
Like most I fear a heavy defeat today. I do think people are being ott in their criticism of Karnezis though, he's not even played a full game yet has he?
Not going to play 2 upfront, Silva? Even though we've looked far more effective in this formation recently? Dropping Gray when he's scored 2 in 2? Are you trying to make us lose?
Karnezis isn't a bad keeper, the overreaction on here because of Everton is wrong. I fully expect him to have a stinker again today now. He was never going to go 4-4-2 away from home and it's probably the right call, we can only play that with Cleverley or Chalobah available really. Pereyra in a midfield two for 90 minutes would leave us too exposed. Gray dropped again after scoring, I wonder why he has no confidence.
