https://www.getwestlondon.co.uk/spo...news/former-qpr-scout-who-discovered-14161926 Watford have appointed the man who discovered Raheem Sterling as regional scout coordinator to their academy.
'The likes of Jordan Gibbons, Bruno Andrade and Tafari Moore also flourished in the Loftus Road youth system when Creith was head of recruitment a decade ago.' A boy band? Grime artists? The line up of ZZ Top? The lads seemingly flourished in a way that they were kept completely out of the public view. But provided he didn't keep them locked in a cellar, I suggest we consider the balance of Mr Creith's cv before leaping to a snap judgment (as can happen on here!) 'He left QPR in 2008, two years before Sterling was snaffled away by Liverpool and has since held various roles, including head of football development Hendon, manager at Kentish Town and Amersham Town, and assistant manager at Southall.' Encouraging that JC is mentioned in the same sentence as Liverpool FC although disappointing that it is to say that he didn't go there but, in fact, went to Amersham Town. That's where I come from & I'm not sure I've even heard of them.
He still is, despite not having grown one. I’ve never felt at ease with the lyrics of Sharp Dressed Man. The motif is that ‘every girl crazy bout a sharp dressed man’. Debatable but, in a way, laudable. Let’s not encourage the slobs. The devil, though, hovers around in the detail. Gold watch (bit ‘Marco’), diamond ring (only if worn by Elton), top hat (Bertie Wooster!), white gloves (Paul Daniels or the Black & White Minstrels!!) Sharp? Really?

My old dad used to be chairman of Amersham Town and I played there for a few years. I’ve never heard of him either!
