Like my chillies (no capital SCG) so gone for a few different types knowing some won't pan out, off the top of my head:

    Ring of fire
    Purple jalepeno
    Little elf
    Golden cayenne
    Hungarian hot wax
    Twilight
    Joe's long

Think a couple more but can't be arsed to go out and check. If they all work out I'll offer the spares out to turn WFC Forums into grow your own freecycle. That'll cheer everyone up!

One of my mates grew some Caroline Reapers last year, i had a small amount (about a finger nails worth) and was in agony for a good 1/2 hour , even better one of my other mates had some then had a piss - not a mistake he will make again

Do you have any links to 'Hungarian hot wax'? I happen to be at home at the moment and my wife is in the other room...

Ah, a life lesson he will never forget, something most people will only do once. It's like thrush (apparently, so I hear), yoghurt does the business but awkward at a mates house.

I used to grow some of those really effing hot ones but if you can actually get one or two to ripen before the weather turns they are so piggin' hot that you can't actually do anything with them.

I know nothing of medicine, however, these days I reckon that keeps me within a good shout of a job. I could bring the medical advice I give to my lad when he gets hurt in his matches, stage 1, run it off son, for more serious incidents, stage 2, get it together son you don't want to let your team mates down.

    When do I start?

If WFC or Soton lose heavily then either team's managers could be sacked, IMO. We'll have been sucked right into trouble with the worse current form in the Premier League and even more difficult games ahead.

Has there been a lack of WFC transfer activity because IF Silva is sacked, there'd be no point in bringing in Marco's "target" players like we did for QSF when we got Mario Suarez in the January (how well did that go?).

The club would need funds to pay off Silva and for the new man's contract.

We spent big in the summer, we want to build on the existing stands in the summer. Is there the money for everything? We're not as wealthy as most other clubs. We pay modestly.

Better not to have to offload any new Silva acquisitions if the new guy has the ideas.

God, I do hope we win....and win well.

You know we’re **** when fans’ unconscious sleep state can foresee the future.

If you look at it another way, win and Silva puts his rep up a bit but it’s still squeaky bum time. Lose and the torches and pitchforks cone out with sharper prongs.

An early sower. That must be where I go wrong with my chillies. I’ll give it a try early this year.

I seek no row but the article by Matt Hughes in The Times today (Saturday) clearly sets out why the club IS in turmoil behind the scenes. Silva wanted to go to Everton and many players asked to go with him. Some didn't and that must have caused divisions in the dressing room.

MS was accused in the article of having history as a chequebook manager and this is at odds with Gino and his recruitment via Filippo Giraldi and Andy Scott. They all make the initial choices, not Marco and his super agent, the guy who buys all Wolves' players.

They are not playing today for not us, shamefully not for GT , they play (as ever?) for themselves to avoid the shame of relegation on their CV.

That Marco started his press conference with a "First I want to say something about Graham Taylor" with a heavily "sponsored by Cvstos watches stroke of his neck and face, makes me sick. It's a ******* insult to seek promotion for a gaudy millionaires trinket off the back of a principled, honourable man like GT.

Opportunism to deflect and deflate tough questions about current league form, players fitness and the lack of transfer activity that Scott Duxbury said would happen and Silva dictated must happen.

Clearly the decision that Marco is leaving has been made. The question is when.

I agree. Clearly everyone involved is in damage limitation mode now. Including Gino who has presumably decided to avoid the mistakes of Januarys past by signing players at the behest of a coach who won't even be there to see them in pre-season.

  23. I agree I think he'll be gone in the summer and will be the master of his own downfall

Why should the club back him on transfers when he didn't back the club over Everton

I’m not sure about the Holebas thing, surely it’s no skin off MS nose if he gets a new contract? We’re a tightly run ship and the owners will always look after things like that, in reality how many clubs now days have managers who decide every detail like that?

Holebas is a **** player and personally out of principal rather than a new contract I’d rather see him chucked out of the back of a moving van, but I’m not a cool headed Italian business man.

I wouldn't be surprised if Silva doesn't see out January.

A win today won't paper over the gaping cracks he's caused. Whatever was good earlier this season has been shattered.

If there's anyone decent available to come in with a clean slate, we should make the change. Trundling along with Silva, I can only see more limp surrenders, late collapses, and probably a return to the Championship - which would be a disgrace with this squad.

Ahem, I think not - Post #39 not my style at all!

Also, a post in my style would not include a quote in addition to the reply because I haven't been able to work out how to do that since the forum was "refurbished". (How do you please?)

Arguments on here always polarize in such an extreme way. It must be obvious to all that we are in a bit if a mess due to injuries, terrible run of results, contradictory messages about transfers before the window vs now, Silva/Everton etc. However it's also true that to be where we are in the prem for a club of our size and short and long term histories is about as good as it gets. There will be very few seasons in the prem where we will be sure in January that we can't be relegated the end of the season.

I believe the Southampton robots have been programmed to beat the golden boy hornets 2-0. Make sure you watch the second goal by robot 33/212 ("Gabbiadini") in the 73rd minute. Spectacular. Great robot ("player").
