At the end of this season, we will have spent 8 years out of ten in the championship so it's not like we're completely new to the championship.
That may be the case but you are in a city with a population of 454,200 and unlike Watford you are not located geographically in an area surrounded by the countries biggest and most successful clubs. Oh and just to burst your bubble you have more chance of being relegated to league 1 than you do reaching the premiership.
And "Superior" is a non-gradable adjective, you cant use them comparatively or superlatively. "Far superior" would have been acceptable.
That is so out of context. How about you move to Bristol? Far superior to the ******** that is Watford.
Like I said, these are your golden years. Enjoy them while they last. Got nothing against Bristol City personally. I like it when the little teams like yours punch above their weight.
By selling Ade Akinbiye for £1.42 million, it seems: http://www.bristolpost.co.uk/sport/football/how-many-bristol-city-club-138543. Or did you have something else in mind?
Gulp! they banged 5 past Plymouth in the last round whom we always seemed 2nd best to ..... this could be a massacre
To be fair I actually like Bristol as a city, could not be doing with that ridiculous accent on a daily basis though.
True but I bet you got you're own version of it! Anyway.. I'll just leave this here https://www.google.co.uk/amp/www.independent.co.uk/life-style/bristol-uk-best-place-to-live-uk-britain-2017-a7638981.html?amp
But we could rest Chalobah and Richarlison tonight and they then get injured in the game against Brighton. Do we wrap them up in cotton wool and only play them sparingly? We should be trying to win every game with the strongest side possible.
I have no doubt we will lose against such giants of football. Their fan base is bigger than ours, their ground is bigger than ours, their fans our fatter than ours, this really does have Watford massacre all over it. In fact if I was a Bristol City fan I would be embarrassed if we couldn't turn over tinpot Watford. This really should be a easy win for such a big big big club like Bristol City. As I Watford fan I just hope we don't buckle under the pressure of playing such a massive club and keep the score line relatively low. So I am going for a 5-2 Bristol City win.
What I meant by far superior was comparing the two places as whole (scenery, culture, things to do etc.) But I guess that comes down to opinion so in my opinion I think Bristol is superior in that respect.
Hoping for a strong line up with one or two changes I would be happy with something similar to this. Pantilimon Kiko Prodl Kabasele Mason Capoue Chalobah Amrabat Hughes Richarlison Deeney
Me too, though I find that few people in the centre of Bristol actually have a Bristolian accent these days. Local accents are fading away in the south of England, which is a shame. But we can always listen to Ian Holloway when we fancy a bit of retro-talking.
No not at all. But I'd rather risk them playing in the league trying to win valuable points rather than in the first round of a cup that means nothing to our safety. The cup is just an unnecessary risk at this point of the season. We could lose 3 or 4 players, who knows. I'd rather we be fresh and up for it v Brighton than tired and carrying stupid injuries. As I said, points in the bag first. Then if still in it throw them in for the cup round 3 or 4.
Mate, you were warned after your very first post, then proceeded to bite on literally every single sarcastic post following it. Please stop reacting seriously to obvious pisstaking/satire. If you think the majority of Watford fans have gone mad with delusions of grandeur in the Prem, you need to think a bit harder.
I can't read I can't write But it doesn't matter Cos I'm a Bristol City fan And I can drive a tractor
