Just life you say? I'm frantically searching that uk.gov petition thing to bring back the death penalty. No matter the rights and wrongs in this case Deeney is clearly in posession of an offensive face. I personally dont think JB (and others) are deliberately setting out to distort what people are saying and l understand his wanting to defend our Troy. We were all young once when our idols could do no wrong. As for the grown ups here yeah, I agree they do somewhat try to bully you and rip up your opinion with a variety of nefarious means but truthfully, the silent majority are no fools. They will always see a reasonable opinion from a reasonable person.
I meant in general.. across the board.. and i'm convinced some people do it deliberately. Some perhaps not deliberately.. they just dont read posts properly or are not bright enough to get the meaning.
Yeah, go on then. Genuinely interested to see where you're reading this, haven't seen anyone saying he was asking for trouble. Lots of people making comments about his looks, his previous conviction and that he should be going to a better class of venue. The comments on the Mail article are overwhelmingly in Troy's favour. Edit: Unless of course it's on that stupid Enjoooythegame group on Facebook - I'm not in that but they seem like a bunch of morons.
Most of them were on that group tbf. Quite a lot of nonsense in The Sun's comment section on the original article as well iirc. Also stuff like this: https://twitter.com/andybrthetford/status/831426861347569665 And numerous tweets on this guy's profile: https://twitter.com/manic2016 That's just a few, but I know for a fact that you'll find tons more if you type in 'Deeney watfordfc' in on the search bar. There's a lot of reasoned stuff in there as well, but also plenty of examples of the sort of stuff that was being talked about in that Football365 article.
I know you're being deliberately condescending, but Deeney isn't an idol of mine and this isn't a Watford issue for me. I would be saying exactly the same thing if this was another player for another club or indeed anyone. This is a societal issue where people are so entitled that they feel that they can get away with doing anything they want just because someone is well-known, how people excuse that and how the gutter media feed that idea. The fact that people have already called up Watford demanding money tells you all you need to know.
Stevohorn was right. This isn't a non-story. I mean, look at how much attention it's been given on this thread!
Last night , I was thinking about having cheese and tomato on toast for tea but then I saw an advert on TV for pizza, so I ordered one of those instead . My how we laughed when we realised that I'd spent £15 on the Italian version of cheese on toast , instead of just having normal cheese on toast for 1/10 of the cost .!!!!! Anybody else have any humorous cheese or pizza related stories ?
This is true. Last night our cat puked inside the house. Why? Because the stupid tw*t had eaten 2 of my daughters earplugs.
My late granddad used to look like Charles Laughton. Sometimes people stopped him in the street to say "Are you Charles Laughton?" He would of course reply "yes".
Mick, the groundsman at Broxbourne in the '80s and '90s looked like CL. Strangely he went to school with another Charles, the Prince of Wales. He always used to line the grass courts after "lunch" at the near by pub. Not exactly straight it's fair to say! I do think Troy is becoming more exaggerated in his post miss gestures, like a Victorian melodrama villain.
"UK's most tattooed man helps police find Watford striker Troy Deeney's stolen £180K Lamborghini" http://www.watfordobserver.co.uk/ne...iker_Troy_Deeney_s_stolen___180K_Lamborghini/ A headline you dont see every day!
I saw it today, but you're right, I didn't see it yesterday. How does one steal a Lamborghini? Got to be an inside job surely. Even the meistermobile is pretty much unstealable without getting hold of the key and it cost a couple of quid less than the Deeneyghini.
Probably easier to steal a key rather than the old school hotwire job. Not the most inconspicuous car to drive around in is it? Is that your car Dave? Nah just selling it for a mate.
They just buys car keys with pre-installed codes from China on Aliexpress or even Onionland nowadays, don't need to smash and grab keys from houses. It's been going round in my village with a gang of 'do as you likeys' getting into every single tradesperson's van it seems.
Which bit of him do they want for £20m? I'm not adverse to him leaving but they need to looking at paying a lot more than that.
I'm not sure that his presence is letting the team develop as it should and he doesn't always contribute that much apart from blind flick ons and a bit of barging the opposition defenders about. I thought we looked better without him yesterday and weren't so tempted to hoof it up. Age is another factor to look at. It would be tempting to cash in I reckon, but I don't think we will.
Interesting that in tonight's post match comments, Deeney said he was dropped for the Sunderland game rather than being rested through illness. He always responds well to being dropped and that decision probably asserts Mazzarri's position as head coach too. Good stuff all round.
BBC3 item here about a month old...
Anyone see Deeney on SSN today? Was asked about Walter and just said 'he's the manager' or something similar and tried not to laugh. I'm only going by a video I was sent of it but didn't seem the most glowing endorsement. Now I'm not Walter's biggest fan but I think a player must always back his manager in public. Quite inappropriate and unprofessional I thought.
Agreed after the appalling behaviour of the Sun on the ancestors of Ross Barkley, he should never go on a to station part owned by the ghastley Murdoch.
