Pelle just went to China for 12m, to put this bid in perspective.

Seems quite pricey for a 75 year old.

£32m. This is surely a no brainer. He is worth nowhere near that even in today's silly money climate. If we end up going to 4-2-3-1, which we certainly have the players for, we probably wouldn't need to replace him

Maybe but we won't accept less than what we rejected before unless the player wants to leave - even more so at this late stage without a replacement lined up.

Disagree. The Chinese bid was completely left field - £32m is still an outrageous amount for a player who has been out of form for 8 months.

Agree, if we can't get along without Iggy why have we brought in all of those other players this transfer window!

Not sure why we would want to sell. Thought he looked good against the Arse and is proven goalscorer. We have players who can come in the event that he is out of form.

Bony doesn't run in behind. Bony is more of a Deeney type player

Sell for at amount. We must have cover ready - he could get injured next week so we must be capable of playing without him. Maybe a swap plus cash deal with berinho not that I would want that

Wilfried Bony is currently in Stoke - so I assume their interest in Berahino is reduced.

We probably would be robbing The Baggies at this price. There is a very good chance that he was playing above himself in the first half of last season. The second half he has been poor maybe his real self and I for one don't have true confidence that he will get us goals.

WARNING: Anyone wetting their pants with glee at the insane prospect of us selling last season's top scorer to one of rivals - please be prepared for a bitter disappointment. Sorry about that.

Sell and lash out 20 or 25 million on a top international striker.

Iggy's chop has been found out and although he's got quick feet in the box, sadly his link up play and vision is mediocre at best.

£32 million is robbery really. We should snap their hands off.

Please for the love of god let him go. He will never replicate a goals total in this league to that of last season.

We wont sell to WBA, they are one of the seven sides we are competing with to avoid the drop. When was the last time we sold a player to a potential rival? A player plus cash deal might be attractive to the Pozzos if they think they are getting a better player in exchange. Not sure that is the case here, and of course would Iggy want to go to WBA?

The money is irrelevant. Is only worth selling if we can replace with better for less. Who ???

Berahino and £18m then go and get Luiz Adriano or Zaha.

That could possibly work and bolster our striking options nicely.

How about Sturridge from Liverpool? They're willing to let him go.

Take Iggy's £32 million, but Sturridge for £25 or so and use the other £7 million to cover his wages.

Could we get Sturridge for £25m?

Mind you Liverpool only paid £12m for him

Whilst ******* off everyone else at the club and probably having to meet Troy's, "I'm the biggest earner here" wages. Unless he takes a cut I suspect £7m wouldn't even get 18 months out of him.

Edit: or am I being whooshed?

Too late in the day to sign him. We would need at least 3 weeks for his medical.
