    Time for another rumour...

    http://m.tuttoudinese.it/altre-noti...tford-su-un-laterale-del-napoli-e-allan-33778

The FIFA agent Gianfranco Cicchetti, during transmission It swells the network broadcast on Radio CRC , he spoke about the Naples market, but also linked to that of Udinese and, above all, of Watford, starring in several operations after incoming promotion to the Premier League: " It 'a Napoli unleashed on the market: Jorginho and Dezi confirmations are two potentially important, not to mention El Kaddouri. Someone will be sold, probably will leave at least one of Inler and Lopez. There are offers from Fiorentina and abroad. Eye, though: even the same Jorginho, with the figure right, could leave. At the entrance, in their place, there may be Allan. From England, meanwhile, are showing a strong interest in Watford for Zuniga. It 'a track, this, to be followed closely. "

This is the guy that broke Neymar's back and ruined his fitness in his home world cup.

Basically a much better (wing back) version of Barton

Good lad he is. Took his goal lovely yesterday and cleverly won us the pen too.

And he's not been well y'know.

He's worked with Mazzari before, hasn't he? Certainly impressed with him so far.

If he keeps this up, he'll start making them pronounce his name correctly. "ZOOO-nyeega"

I loved how he came on the pitch, yelled some instructions and then quickly look over the free kick and passed the ball forward, before running forward himself.

He just instantly injected a little pace and urgency which United were not expecting, and they switched off.

We have the biggest team in the league, but sometimes you need a man with a shorter frame but bigger cojones.

Considering Walter's previous knowledge of him you have to conclude he trusts and values him. Smart experienced player who, if he gets 100% fit will be a big asset.

I thought he looked a bit of a passenger on his previous appearances, but he was certainly up to speed yesterday.

As he was about to come on, I was ranting about how useless he is, offers nothing up front (he hadn't scored since 2012), wasn't a positive influence, Walter was being negative, etc, etc.

Within a minute I was delighted to have been proven wrong.

I criticised the sub too. Thought Capoue should have been kept on as we needed his physical presence to see out the draw. Thought Zuniga would be too lightweight and isn't suited to centre midfield.

What a fantastic thing to be wrong about!!

I'm surprised some have a negative opinion of the lad after such little evidence.

I saw him play against Gillingham, and in the first half of extra time, he got pushed off the ball which led to their winner. It wasn't a very impressive first view, but then he got better in the second half of extra time.

He has very quick feet and is quite solid when running with the ball. I don't think he'll have a leading role, but from the bench he'll be very useful. I think yesterday the stars lined up for him and he may never have that sort of impact ever again in his Watford career.......but personally I don't care. He gave us the impetus to beat United for the first time in 30 years, that's good enough for me.

There might have been little evidence, but what evidence there was led me (and others) to a negative opinion. We've now got a bit more evidence.

But you're right, he may never have that sort of impact again. There again, he might. After all, we still don't have that much evidence of his ability.

To be honest he could do f all for the rest of the season.

He's comfortably repaid the pretty measly loan fee we paid Napoli.

In the cup match he did look a little shaky in mid field, but around the box he looked lively and effective, getting past his man and into the box a couple of times. Think people were on too much of a downer to recall the more positive side of his game.

Other than 7 years in Serie A and 60 caps for Colombia? And that former manager Mazzari wanted him?

    Never doubted him!!

All jokes aside though, the "such little evidence" thing works both ways, one goal hardly makes him signing of the season either but he showed more in this cameo than any of the others so hopefully he continues to improve!

I don't think anybody had said a bad word about him before the United game at all. Just because a lot of us were surprised by the sub and thought it was the wrong call at the time, it doesn't mean we've made a rash judgement about him specifically as a player.

Have a look at the Gillingham thread - some bizarre negative comments about him on that.
