Assuming this all comes off perhaps we could form a new joint corporate image for the three clubs?

For a start we could do a group deal with the same kit manufacturers and perhaps all play in stripes: - Udinese retaining their black & white stripe, Granada switching to red & white stripes, and Watford to red & yellow stripes, we could also stock each other kits in our respective club shops, and perhaps even use each others colours as our 2nd and 3rd kits?

I would imagine this would be a good commercial move, I'm sure there will be other joint commercial and footballing activities we could amalgamate; of course all or some of this may already be in the Pozzo's plans?

    Please discuss!

Watford playing in stripes is not what I hope for on a kit, but other than that I like your thinking.

Granada already play in red and white stripes to my knowledge, but I like the idea of our away kit being designed in homage to our owner's first club.

I'm not certain, but I believe Granada play in red & white hoops, not stripes :angel3:

The voice of Reason saying we played in hoops? Lol

As El Distraido says, Granada had always played in stripes, actually, we are the only team (maybe others in low divisions, no one that i know) that play in Spain with horizontal stripes... So you can be quiet that you won't play in stripes lol

But it would be an awesome commercial business.

In one of the many pictures and links that have been posted on here over the last few days, I am certain I saw a picture of a team playing in RED & WHITE HOOPS!!! However, I bow to your superior knowledge, perhaps it was one of your opponents, or maybe it was our other brother Udinese?

Can anyone confirm if I was dreaming or not?

Yolking aside  We could try and negotiate for the same sponsors, I would have thought a big international company could well be interested in that!!!

Until we got the same supplier for shirt will be impossible

    Udinese and Granada have Legea
    Watford should change to it

But the idea of a sponsorship in England, Italy and Spain for a company could bring some solid £££
but i don't know if it is a good idea as already we have troubles that we "own" Granada and maybe they want to play it cool and do not show too much linkage between the clubs for tax reason, and the fact that Pozzo is the owner of 3 football clubs at the same time

I've tried to make a union bar scarf for the three teams - it's not very original, but this is the simplest design that works and it puts us 'central' - which, hopefully, we'll be!

EDIT: If the web designer knew English proper - he/she would know that the plural of forum is fora and wfcfora fits my colour scheme perfectly.:naughty:

From many sides centralizing some elements of the 3 teams to make 1 club makes perfect sense & would increase the collective buying power, I could also see that the sponsorship opportunities would benefit all 3 teams. So Udinese's sponsor would get increased exposure in the UK & Spain etc might be attractive to a company in thiose 3 areas like Santander ?

While I would deplore a change to the home kit (stripes is an absolute NO), I would love our away shirt to be black and white stripes as a nod to both Udinese Calcio and to Watfords past - we're approaching the 100th anniversary of our Southern League promotion (geek), which was gained wearing black and white striped shirts.

Hi roj (your new nickname) if you look at the first thread on the "Granda CF" thread that you started, there is a picture of a shirt that you say is Granada's and it is RED & WHITE HOOPS!!! Perhaps we have got a misunderstanding in language as to the difference between HOOPS & STRIPES

I don't have the technical know how to copy the picture on to this thread, so perhaps someone who has can do so for me please.

    No worries VoR.

a Fabio Capello Lolly? You'd think he'd have enough on his plate with the Capello Index without making his own frozen sweets!

If the clubs did a deal, say £75 for all three home shirts I would definitely buy them.

I think having a united approach to kit and sponsors is an excellent way of maximising revenue.

Korona Kielce play in yellow/red stripes in Poland and it looks OK.

As scalexman says we have worn black and white stripes before and indeed as West Herts red and yellow stripes.

    http://www.historicalkits.co.uk/Watford/Watford.htm

I expect that we will switch to Legea in time when the deal with Puma is finished. I quite like the idea of selling merchandise between the three clubs and showing solidarity with our fellow brethren in Udine and Granada. :)

Red, yellow and green stripes anyone??

The Puma deal is a 3yr one by the way, so we won't be switching any time soon.
