I had this problem too. Are you using IE9? If so, click the torn page looking thing in the address bar next to the magnifying glass. That fixed it for me

OK, i think i may have an answer

When i bring up the page it shows that I have to log in, but as soon as i click on the forum or home page link it shows me as logged in.

I think it is just that it just doesn't show you as logged in when you go to the page

No, you're right. Search is sporadic and needs to be recreated. Only problem is this takes a few hours to do and is will slow the forum down, so we've put it off for a few days. On our "to do" list.

You don't get 'orns for posting a new reply, is this intentional?

And the advert at the top of each thread is really far over to the right (although that's good because it means that you can't see it :) )

The 'Orns plugin hasn't been installed yet. The advert thing might be the same as Smithy saw, can you post a screenshot please?

That's a screen shot of the top of this thread. To the left the forum is as normal, and to the right the advert continues for a bit.

The advert stays out to the side even if you zoom out as far as possible, so I couldn't get a screen shot of the whole thing.

OK, that settles it. There is something wrong with the code that puts the advert at the bottom of the threads. I'll remove it and investigate.

I am sure you already know this but when replaying to a thread, you can only use the quick reply box now, unless you click on go advanced. Will there be no reply box like the last version?

I'm not a fan of quick reply, I'll see if I can make the advanced version the default.

It comes with a fee. 500 vCash, pay up, or Jonathan will purposely spill his ketchup on you.

Looks like it's the bookie or the arcade causing that. It's on my "to do" list.

In the top menu bar 'Arcade' is only visible when you're already on the 'Forum' part of the site. It disappears as an option when you click on 'Home', 'vBookie' or 'Blogs'.

I'll have to discuss that with Meister and work out how to put the code into the right box, but it should happen soon.

I know, I'm still learning the code, it's just a temporary fix at the moment.

It was when I was on my HTC Sensation (it's fine on my laptop), so the page was compressed, and unlike the other forum recent threads it didn't split it into two lines. I would take a screenshot but 3 haven't issued the update which lets you do it yet!

Test to see if this appears in New Posts.

    Nope. It doesn't for me.

    Why would it?

If you've posted it that means you've automatically read it (when it refreshes to the topic after posting) so it's not 'new' :)

But it isn't new to you, it'd appear in mine and everyone else's lists.

EDIT: When you make a post, and click 'Post Reply', it refreshes to show you the posted message right? That in effect registers it as read with your login, thus, won't appear on the new list.

But this post of yours isn't appearing in New Posts for me. It says there were no posts between 4.35 and 5.30 which isn't the case.

Are you looking at the New Posts list before reading the topic?

I just discovered the Match Pic and and advert and a whole new column by clicking the chevron that's on the Forum page but not on the New Posts page.

Before on View New Content, posts you'd read would appear grey, where as now on the 'New Posts' list, they just don't appear at all.

If the post or thread has loaded on your user, then it is classed as read.
