Fair play if people don't like them as they can slow up the browser and all that but if you don't like it then there is the option to hide them.
Indeed, i was sort of pointing it out for those who don't like them. I have no problem with them as it doesnt slow me down at all, but if you don't like them its a simple as clicking a box...
Any chance of increasing the size availible for animated avatars? i just have a wee spinning symbol I want, nothing crazy, but it's not allowed!
Sorry but no, I've been thinking of radically reducing the size of them as the bigger they get the more ridiculous they make a thread look.
I don't mean the literal size, but the size of the file if that makes sense! This thing is pretty small, smaller than my current avatar!!
really dislike the animated sigs. my internet is usually very capable, but this weekend coming on and scrolling down threads has been an absolute nightmare. however i dont want to turn off sigs as then i am unable to see sigs that people have made and are using. some people put a lot of effort into their stationary sigs. absolute no effort is put into the animated gifs, your just copying them from somewhere else and seem pointless (especially when they seem to have no relevance to watford fc).
well i really dislike those GIFs. it took me so long to scroll down the thread relating to trouble at wednesday thread, my computer decides to lock up everytime i come across another GIF. not cool just incredibly frustrating.
The poll is all wrong. It should be: which animated gif is funniest- Mick McCarthy or Rollerskating rapper (Danny Shittu)!
was about to say what a pain the a$$ they are and how they slow things down. didn't know i could turn them off. oh bliss.
Optimistic, just don't try and scroll till your browser has loaded the gif, it should take a few seconds then it'll be fine. If you try and scroll whilst it's trying to load it, you're overloading the browser.
Going to take mine out anyway seeing as I've blocked signatures etc and I don't really want to **** everyone off. Sorry Henry!
