Currently we have the following user titles based on number of posts. Trialist 0 Junior Hornet 200 Academy Player 500 Reserve Team Player 750 First Team 1000 International 2000 Superstar 5000 Galactico 10000 We're thinking of adding some more/moving the goalsposts a bit. I'd like Junior hornet to start earlier possibly 50 but as this is a democracy* what are your thoughts? *term used for advertising purposes only, wfc forums reserves the right to rubbish/ignore any suggestions as they see fit:]]
How many posters do we have in each category at the moment? Maybe move the boundaries to fit a "bell curve" distribution. Possibly ignoring any who haven't logged on for 6 months?
Good point. Excluding mods & admin. Trialist 1493 Junior Hornet 55 Academy Player 85 Reserve Team Player 57 First Team 31 International 32 Superstar 14 Galactico 4
Ok, so in theory you want a few more in the middle categories and less Trialists for an equal distribution? If you have every member and their post count in excel, i'm sure there's a way of working it out. How about a "dead-wood" category for those who've posted a few times, but not again for months? And a "Travner" category for the lurkers who have joined but never posted?
As long as I don't lose 'Forum Cad and Bounder' under my username, I care not what you choose. I'm sure it will be good.
It's a valid opinion and an option. We could make the default category hornmeister's minion regardless of post count.
What about: - Voyeurs - For those who have registered, but not posted. Trialists - For a shorter period, say 1 - 25 posts. Harefield Students - 26 - 100 posts. 1st Year Professionals - 101 - 150 posts. 2nd Year Professionals - 151 - 200 posts. 3rd Year Professionals - 201 - 250 posts Full Time Professional - 251 - 251 - 500 posts 1st Team Squad - 501 - 750 posts Bench Regular - 751 - 1000 posts. 1st Team Regular - 1001 - 2500 posts. International - 2501 - 5000 posts. World Class Player - 5001 + posts.
how do you change the user title? as i can see members who have different phrases or words under there username.
Forum Snitch seems inappropriate for me. How about "forum person who should really spend his time more constructively?"
Well you must know, you said it. I was only suggesting an idea for abit of fun, not to feel/be special. If your gonna have a go atleast give me a reason why.
