I thought he looked quite smart, also did you notice the amount of exposure that Taylor Made got from the BBC, every shot the camera zoomed in on his ball, how much did they pay the Beeb for that. It is not over yet and a lot will depend on the weather, if the wind blows anyone within 8 shots could win, today was very unusual weather as there was no wind, normally it always blows there. Should be interesting tomorrow.
Lets hope Taylormade give's Auntie some money for product placement , cause thats the only way they'll be able to afford it , unless the old boys of the R&A see sense amd keep it on free to air tv.
Can't beat Taylor Made kit IMHO. I have a tour bag, driver, wood, utility, irons and a putter, all excellent.
They are a very succesful company, who are owned by Addias, my personal preference is Mizuno. I have been to Callaways factory in San Diego as we had a small business developing a new type of graphite shaft, their plant \ factory is amazing. The testing ground is out of this world, they have robots to hit the ball and also human testers. Everything is logged on PC and always starts at 7.00am as there is no wind. Quite proud that we took the idea that far. I still have a prototype Driver with our shaft assembled by the R @ D of Callaway
Blades or cavity back Mizuno's? Blades are not for hackers like myself, I need all the help i can get.
used to play with T-zoid True blades , found them an awesome club , got an extra 20 yards out of them and the only 3 iron that I have ever managed to hit straight . got divorced and ended up selling them , now only play 3 or 4 times a year , but still look on ebay now and again for an old set
