This Saturday Tony Mowbray's Middlesborough travel to Vicarage Road to play Sean Dyche's Watford in the 46th and final game of the 2011/2012 NPower Championship Season. Middlesborough sit just outside the play off places two points behind Cardiff and as a result will need to win on Saturday to stand any chance to attain the final play off place. Middlesborough come into the game on the back of an impresssive 2-1 win over Southampton with goals from Zemmama and Bailey. Watford come into the game on the back of a 2-2 draw at London Road with goals from Sean Murray and Troy Deeney. Watford are currently a mid table club exceeding all expectations considering that we were relegation candidates at the start of the season. the previous result earlier this season at Teeside was a narrow win to Middlesborough with the winning and offside goal from Scott McDonald.
Watford come into the game on the back of four successive draws against mostly top half of the table teams. The game on Saturday may be Tomasz Kuszczak's last for the Hornet's with his loan spell ending at the end of the season. Another player potentially on the way out is highly rated Adrian Marriappa who has attracted interest from Premier League teams such as Newcastle, Wigan and even Arsenal. For the first time in a while Dyche is able to choose from a possible 3 centre backs for the visit of Boro'. Sean Murray is expected to be out on the wing again with the two Johns, Eustace and Hogg, in the middle of midfield. The other winger is a potential problem though, Prince Buaben has played well out on the right wing since coming in however Matty Whichelow, Britt Assombalonga and Gavin Massey are all vying for a starting place. Troy Deeney is expected to be up top dependent on the court ruling (which is to be announced later today) partnering Big Chris or Joe Garner. Lloyd Doyley and Carl Dickinson are expected to be the full backs using their physical prowess against a powerful Boro side. Stephen McGinn again played a full 90 mintues against Stevenage for the reserves which Watford won 1-0. Tomasz Kuszczak will need to be on top form to prevent a strong Boro side from scoring.

Score Prediction: Depending on whether Dyche puts out a strong team or a team full of youngsters I think the score will still be a win to Boro, a 3-2 win with our goals from Deeney and Murray. I would happily take a point though. To all those going have a safe journey and enjoy the game.
Come on you Horn's!
