On Saturday Sean Dyche's Watford travel to London Road to play Darren Ferguson's Peterborough in the 45th game of the NPower Championship. The home side come into the game on the back of a 3-1 defeat to second place Southampton with goals from Hooievild and a brace from Billy Sharp before a late consolation goal from Tommy Rowe. Watford on the other hand come into the game from a 2-2 draw with Gus Poyet's Swan Lake, with goals from Troy Deeney and a magnificent free kick from young Sean Murray. Peterborough sit below Watford in 18th place with 12 points less than the Hornets. The previous fixture earlier in the season ended in a 3-2 win to the Hornets with a brace from Marvin Sordell and a goal from Mark Yeates. The two Posh scorers were Frecklington and Sinclair.

Watford will have Adrian Marriappa back from suspension after he was sent off for two yellow card offences against Hull after he returned from injury. It is not yet known whether Marriappa will dislodge the current partnership of Martin Taylor and Nyron Nosworthy. Stephen McGinn is still out after a long term injury. More team news to follow. It is unlikely that Big Chris will start the game as two game within a week may be too much for the veteran striker. Watford's key player will be Jonathon Hogg who will be needed to break up the Posh attacking orce.

Peterborough come into the tie on the back of three consecutive losses, two of which were at London Road sandwiched either side of a defeat at Leeds. Watford on the other hand come in the game on the back of three striaght draws two of which were away games. More team news to follow.
