This leads to the following question, who will be travelling furthest to see us play in the quater final?
Providing you can get tickets of course !
I wonder if the special coach offer should have been held back a few days?
As we know we have over 3000 plat and plat + members.
Our allocation for Plymshyte is just under 3000.
I would be mighty pissed off if they sell out on Monday to window licking part timers, when there are Gold and silver members who have gone away all year.

So apparently those with plat and plat+ memberships are part timers yet those who don't have enough ticket stubs from our championship season and who have suddenly started going away in the prem aren't ??

My point Chewy is this.
Plat / Plat + was easily obtainable. Three away stubs from last year.
This year our away following has improved, some will say GH etc but leave that to one side.
Without the free coach, how many of the Plat / Plat + would have attended?
I think we all know we would never have sold our allocation without the coach offer.
So my point is by offering the coach now could / will entice people to go, possibly at the expense of people who have attended more away games than others this year.
No easy way of managing this from the clubs point of view, just me throwing up a thought for discussion.

I think anyone missing out on a plymouth away ticket due to what jobby says - the club should send them a cornish pasty as a gesture of goodwill with a match day programme and a bottle of beer or cider.

I see what you are saying and i'm one of those plat members that wouldn't have gone without the coach offer as i simply couldn't afford a train+overnight and didn't fancy paying to sit on a coach for 5 hours.
It could well end up being harsh on some gold/silver members but i doubt too many of them were planning to go without the coach offer either and this excellent gesture from the club will serve to maximise the amount of fans we take and i suppose that can only be a good thing albeit at the possible expense of others.

Tue Gold and Silver can buy.
Weds Bronze
Thurs announce free coaches for any new sales or those previously made.

Should have been 23 away stubs and proof of travel to pre season tour for the highest membership.

I do agree with a membership for fans with all 23 league ticket stubs, which there should have been
Not the pre-season tour though :doom:

Maybe over 20 away games last year should get priority and can get tickets before all platinum + members. ;D

I have to say 3 ticket stubs was not enough for top membership really, should have been a minimum 10, then again i don't always keep stubs so dont know if i would've found 10 if i needed to!

would it make a difference me living in dublin? why did the lady in the ticket office say i would qualify for a higher membership straight away? would that make sense?

Not really. I think Jon makes a good point. There will be hundreds of Platinum members who will have used their membership once this year - to get tickets to Arsenal v Watford. However I think he's overestimating the impact of the coaches. I'd have said 800 would have gone without the offer, now we're looking at 2,000 tops. The time hasn't changed and a coach will take nearly 6hrs - still inconvenient for early Monday workers and school kids.

Platinum is the highest though Play Off tickets do not count. You have to have three league away stubs from the normal 2005/6 season and a ST for 2006/7. The highest you could get, at a guess, is Bronze.

??? Bit odd if you ask me. They've not advertised anything like that. Keep us posted, I'd be very interested to see what happens there.

I can guarentee that Guiness tastes sooo much nicer in Ireland. Also my friend lives in Leeds and her Yorkshire puddings are tops.:)
genius even tastes different in Northern Ireland than it does in the South.
