We now have 2 bookies. Bookie 1 and Bookie 2. I'll throw in the odd event as well. Once Bookie 2 gets up to speed we should have enough events popping up to keep you all amused. Bookie 2 is not known at the moment, but if they want to reveal themselves to you all it's their choice.

In future months we may have changes to the Bookies if they feel a need to give it up or get caught with their hands in the till again ;D.

Bookie 1 and Bookie 2 will probably argue a lot ;)

You?

indeed it is me, I'm the new bookie. it took some time to agree my wages, but eventually the deal was sealed.

As I said on the other thread it would be awfully nice if Bookie 2 could use his 500 'orns to give some customers a free bet (donate and then they bet) rather than pocketing it like his disreputable namesake... :)

I might do that, also i remember a while back fan joked about wanting to bet on me to be the next bookie, perhaps with my bookie money i should let him have a free bet, because he predicted i would become the next bookie way before i did.

yes. that should happen. also, you should give people 'orns for successful suggestions of betting events. that way you get a constant stream of ideas and the ideas people get rewarded. i think i should be rewarded for that aswell.

Only a rubbish bookie would hand out free bets.

surely the point of the bookie is to bring a little fun to the boards. people who dont usully bet might need some peruasion to get into it, and a free bet would do just that.
chewitt, this isn't some real job you have, its a tool to allow fun.

Lets have a bet on fan getting tongue-in-cheek postings. I'm going to put 1000 'orns on Never.
