Well i did not think ash would ever want to go to west ham, it proves its not about the money for ash which is good for him, why would he want to go to a team thats going to get relegated as well, he may as well stay at watford, i reckon that the club spoke to ash, told them they were going to accept the offer but to tell him to turn down it down, then al the other clubs whould see what price we were willing to let ash go at and then hoping the team he wants to go to comes in for him, big gamble on ash behalf and the clubs i admit, but then on the other foot if they have accepted it and ash really didnt want to go to west ham then i see a big big conflict coming. I just hope it all gets sorted for both the club and ash.

When West Ham were after SWP they were prepared to match his Chelsea wage of £50k a week, I'm sure Ash's pay packet would have been quite fat, so well done on the boy for not even discussing terms with them, integrity is not a plentiful comodity in the footballing world.

I think you may be over-estimating Ashs' loyalty - he's holding out for the big clubs and he'll go even if it means we have to take a reduced offer.

Good luck to him, he's got to look after himself.
