OOPS! London 2012: North Koreans walk off after flag row

The North Korean women's football team have walked off the pitch at their Olympic match in Glasgow after their images were shown on a screen beside a South Korean flag. Unbelievable, I just cant see how this is a genuine mistake, too obvious. What I mean is how could anybody be so thick and get the job to do these videos?

I remember reading a report saying how they've practiced doing all the flags and national anthems in order to not make a mistake...and then this happens.

Accident or deliberate, it didn't justify walking off. They should have forfeited the game. Olympian spirit and all that.

I think they had every right to walk off, such a basic mistake is not acceptable IMO, lets hope that this cockup is an isolated incident, but somehow I am not confident that will be the case :dismay:

Whilst it happens, it's quite a sensitive issue with North/South Korea.

The Olympics are going well and haven't even started it yet, we've had this, we've had banners in different languages put up that make no sense (because they allegedly just used Google translate.. ha)

Hmmmm, dont walk off, make it about 2 steps off the plane when you get home before you are being tortured and disappeared - nice idea.

This reminds me of that recent story where during a medals ceremony, they used the Borat tune instead of the official Khazakstani national anthem (wow I just impressed myself with my spelling there) :)
