'lympics!

Hi all

It will be starting officially soon. Some of you will have tickets.
Here are my predictions.

1. Food and drink at events will be very, very expensive. People will complain about this. People may even complain about it on this forum.
2. There will be queues to get in. These will be long, angry people will be on TV vox pops getting all angry about it in common accents.
3. Traffic in London will be very bad. The London road system cant really cope with low level Victorian level traffic. All it will take is a couple of breakdowns and it will all grind to a halt.
4. Despite this it will be an exellent sporting event.

You can't order chips that aren't from McDonalds. So you have to buy fish and chips and throw the fish away or eat it and get fat.

I do think if there were medals for moaning that GB would easily win gold. Any other country with the Olympics would all be partying and celebrating together, not getting depressed about a few traffic jams(which are nothing new) or the high price of drinks. All those grumbling Brits....life is too short. try and enjoy it!

I have some tickets btw..can't wait!

I heard an interesting way round it where you could buy a piece of scampi or a single chicken nugget with a side of chips
