How does this mug, when appearing on Sky Sports News talking about Charlton get "Watford manager 1989/9" put under his name dammit? Surely he's been other places longer and done plenty better than his crap year here....

Was he commenting on the WFC match. Maybe they used it to highlight his connection to us!!

and yet when people talk to GT they say former England,Aston Villa and Wolves manager but do not include us even though being at the Vic was the highlight of his career.

i cannot explain how much i hate this man.

You're not the only one. He did so much damage in such a short space of time that his legacy lasted a lot longer than he did. I remember the day we appointed him, I said to an old boy at work that Bassett was an OK manager. The old boy told me that Watford were mad taking him on as manager. He was so right!
