Apologies to mods, I know you're going to move this thread somewhere, but I need to make a decision really quickly on my upgrade, and this is the most viewed section.
Does anyone either have this phone or maybe work in the mobile phone industry and have any decent info about it ?
I've been a Nokia user for the past 15 years and don't know much about Android phones.
Many thanks

Battery life is reputedly ****, but other than that, I think it's one of the best phones out there.

Thanks for the info. As long as it can cope with about 1 hour of talktime and a couple of hours of internet before it needs it's daily charge I'll be happy ????

i've always used nokia as well -why not try one of their upmarket ones -as the functions nornally remain very similar -i have a c6 at the moment got it last year - pay £5 per month on top of my £12.50 gfpr sky sports -get to watch about 6 or 7 live games each month on sky or tune into sky sports news and also get cricket etc the sky sports channels - who you with i'm on tmobile.. ring up your network and tell you want an ugrade etc etc etc -good deals about and they should reduce your monthly bill if you have been long term customer...
and they MAY GIVE YOU A YEAR SUPPLY OF HOT CHILLI... FOR THE CON CARNE!

I ditched my iPhone for a desire, great phone and battery will last a day if you don't sit and play games on it all day! Consider a Samsung galaxy as well tho, both very good!

I'm on O2. I used to batter them every 12 months and get a good deal on my contract, but they don't want to play ball anymore so fork them, I'm off elsewhere.

My Girlfriend has it, battery lasts around 1 day but it does get used a lot.
It's probably the best phone on the market.

HTC's running Android are some of the best phones you can get in terms of features and software, but as others have said, the battery life is absolutely abysmal. My girlfriend has the original Desire and sometimes has to charge it twice a day.

you need to get your PUK number i think so you can keep your mobile phone number - maybe when you ask for that they will do a deal for you... maybe not -if not -***** em - t-mobile aint too bad these days and they have a joint covergae with orange - there are good deals around i think...
you will want a chilli hot phone no doubt?

It's probably the best vibrator on the market. She swears by it and wouldn't replace it for anything else, although she may be entitled to an upgrade I don't think she will consider anything else.

On my Second HTC phone the first having lasted 5 years.:sign15:
I'd certainly go with an android one next time as Windows mobile is a bit slow but to be honest I'm thinking I'll get a tablet PC and then a basic phone. The Screens are too small on phones to do anything decent with.
