Middlesbrough striker Mark Viduka admits his future is 'up in the air'.
Viduka is out of contract at the end of the season and is waiting to discover Boro's intentions regarding a new deal.
He has been linked with a January move to North East rivals Newcastle United, who had been keen during the summer.
The Australia international is unsure what his future holds and whether he will be at The Riverside next season.
"I don't know to be honest about my own future," said Viduka on Sky Sports News.
"There's been no approach from the club towards me for any sort of renegotiation.
"So it's all up in the air at the moment."
Viduka joined Boro in a £4.5million switch from Leeds United in 2004 and has scored 26 goals in 77 appearances.
He has been hampered by injury this season, with his goal in Monday's 2-1 defeat at Fulham his third in 12 outings during Gareth Southgate's tenure.
