Thought it would be a good idea to compile a list of graphical resources that members may find useful. Feel free to suggest new websites and I will add them to this list.

PROGRAMS

www.adobe.com/downloads/ (http://www.adobe.com/downloads/) - list of all the adobe photoshop programs available for a trial download.

www.getpaint.net (http://www.getpaint.net) - simple and easy to use editing program.

www.irfanview.com (http://www.irfanview.com) - free to download image viewer, will shrink an image without reducing its quality.

www.softspecialist.com/Makaha-2455/Makaha.htm (http://www.softspecialist.com/Makaha-2455/Makaha.htm) - similar to irfan view.

RENDERS, PICTURES & FONTS

www.planetrenders.net (http://www.planetrenders.net) - requires registration, but has a large collection of free renders.

www.premiumrenders.com (http://www.premiumrenders.com) - same as above.

www.cooltext.com (http://www.cooltext.com) - free, easy to use and a wide range of different fonts and styles.

www.iphotoshop.org/renders/index.php?cat=4 (http://www.iphotoshop.org/renders/index.php?cat=4) - large selection of renders (warning some may not be work safe).

www.racingrenders.com (http://www.racingrenders.com) - for all your automobile rendering needs.

www.deviantart.com (http://www.deviantart.com) - personally recommended by emmawfc.

www.dafont.com (http://www.dafont.com) - fonts galore!

TUTORIALS

www.signaturestop.com (http://www.signaturestop.com) - a brilliant site with many different tutorials.

http://tv.adobe.com/ - excellant tutorials for all adobe products.

Good idea thanks.
I'm not really into graphics these days, but I have a Flash project coming up, so suspect I'll need to do some basic stuff for that to make it look good!

Just been playing with it, pretty easy to use and get some good effects. I'm sure I'm using about 20% of the features (or less) but pleased with it. Thanks again Optimistic.

Can't be a*sed to make a sig- I have a crap username anyway- don't want to highlight it more than I have to!

Great site for any you need graphics wise (except text)
The brushes on there are quality :)
