My first instinct when I saw Rodgers in his first interview after he took the Watford job wasn't good, unlike when Boothroyd took over. There was definitely something suspicious about him, but I ignored it and gave him a chance, and he changed my opinion of him until he went to Reading. The bloke is a blatant liar, he said he was 100% commited to Watford last week, and only ever thought about taking the Reading job when the approach came in on Friday. However some time before that there was a significant amount of money put on him by very well-informed people, which suggests to me that he was thinking of leaving well before last Friday. Also I couldn't stand his constant moaning about not having money, how things were better at Chelsea, how the fans 'didn't seem to like him at first', but the best one was moaning that his wife was getting very upset at a watford fan criticising him in the Watford Observer.
