I have a feeling it's the U.S.'s turn this time. Hope I'm wrong.

I have a feeling it's the U.S.'s turn this time. Hope I'm wrong.

I have the exact same feeling. The US are on home turf and I have a feeling that the lack of Tiger will make others step up their game.

But I can't wait to see what happens.

I think the loss of Tiger will prove too much for Europe.

I'm not a big golf fan but will be watching with interest at work this afternoon.

So Dougy, whats your predictions?

I am going agaionst europe - i think Hunter M may have a good tournament for the septics and Jiminez for europe.

and USA to win 15.5 to 12.5, 14.5 to 13.5, that is on the basis the organisation running the tournament doesn't go bust before it ends;) whch stands at odds of 5/1 at present.

These contests are often close, so I was thinking of buying into the draw, currently about 12-14's, and laying off Sunday morning as it's bound to be lower.

The only thing I know about golf is that the ball has to go into the hole, and that I played crazy golf once at Bognar. Despite this im trying to follow it on SSN.

No Sergio Garcia or Lee Westwood today first up...Faldo will have to hope that decision does not come back to haunt him.

No Westwood, Garcia or Casey, what is Faldo thinking?

Y&P

Garcia's not very well and Westwood's got some blisters. I suppose we'll see them later on. No need to panic.

Faldo is an embarrassment, any one hear his Delboy speech, what a complete tool

There are many *******s on this course:

Boo 'Happy Gilmore' Weekley
Anthony Kim
Hunter Mahan
Every yank fan.

Cheering Garcia going into the water and booing his good tee shot on the next hole? That's not golf.

It is actually embarrassing to watch with all the booing done by the so called American fans. Fair play to America, they deserve to win this, which I am pretty sure they are going to do but the majority of the crowd are pretty much scum!

Karlsson and Rose looking good as is IP.

Harrington down though.

Casey has been awful, but he's in there for a half. Podge needs to pull his back.

That was an EXCELLENT golf shot.

We'll probably lose by 1 or 2 points now.

Wonder what Hunter Mahan thinks of the Ryder Cup now?

I'm pretty sure that Tiger Woods is an American though?

PS What job allows you to watch golf? (mine does ;))

:whoosh: for me re: Tiger. That should read as a loss for America... again wrong on my part though!

I work for Ladbrokes, we've got sky in the shop so most of the time I sit around watching that as our shop is hardly ever busy. Saying that, rumour has it they're cancelling the sky subscription in the new year, so the job hunt may begin again when they do! :]]

And i thought you were going to answer something like.."isnt it obvious..i work in a warehouse!" :]]

PS If you were wondering how i can watch golf at work..

I'm a greenkeeper ;)

I didn't watch it, but just saw a little piece about it on SSN, and it strikes me how much of a c*** that Boo Weekly or whatever his name is. I know nothing about golf, but from a 30 second clip, I already despise him.
