Remember to "support the shirt" - as some div posted on here recently!

More than acceptable behaviour ....... there's no nasty 'Green Teams' roaming poker events desperately wanting to ruin someone's 'leisure pursuit' in the name of Elf and Stacey!

I keep on going to the G-Casino in Looton as it is good for lts late night drinking but the thing is, they have a blasted cash machine there as you walk to the gents to empty your bladder I always go and get money out and go on the blasted black jack tables! At least I now go on the 5 quid a hand tables as opposed to the 25 quid ones. Though up a few quid so far since I have joined thanks to a nice big earner on roulette.

All 'house games' (roulette, BJ, slots etc) are for the mug punters Matt, the odds are so heavily in the Casino's favour they cannot fail to make money.
They hate 'hosting' the poker tournys/cash games because there's not a lot in it for them, especially for the floor space required ......... however without the card-room the place would be half emty most of the time.
Anyhow, I finished sixth of the one hundred and thirty odd entrants in the first tourny of the Festival, and binned eight hundred sovs .... cheers Lootown!

PYA, the last four chopped it in the end 1st took 5k, 2nd 4k, joint 3rds 2.8k - players from The Western, where I play mostly, got first, joint third, and (me) sixth place ..... we're different gravy to those Benny's from Bedfordshire.

a very worthwhile pot - very surprised that pikeyville has got that much currency in it. Securicor hired for winner to go home in;)
The paddington casino that opened last year now does Monday to Wednesday poker - haven't been down yet but will give a go at some time. It was poxy when they tried doing it last year.

Just go to the Vic Paddy, it's only at the bottom of Edgware Rd - plus Vicky Coren's a regular, slightly better looking than the average Brummie cardshark!
There's a £250 Pot Limit Omaha on at the Festivoooooooool tonight - never played the game 'live' before, but might give it a go .... that game makes Texas Hold 'em look as tame as a bridge party at the local vicarage.

Good win there, a few scum families will be without the giro money this week then.
For sure those are (Roulellte, BJ etc) the way to make money for the casion. I see plenty of mugs loose big money on the roulette there but my poker skills are not up to scratch yet to enter big tournaments yet. I am happy playing poker with mates and winning a hundred each time than loosing big, which I most likely would do at Looton. I will be keeping an eye out this weekend on the players to see how good they are, must be some that are worse than me!

Joined up after Plymouth away on the sunday, 8 thirsty Watford in paddington with none of the pubs showing the Chelsea-Arsenal game! Only stopped for a few but seems alright, may return in the near future for a poker event!

Haven't been for a while there, so it may have improved from its initial opening.
It is increasinlgly hard to find a pub with fottie on In paddington. The Fountains Abbey, opposite St Marys Hospital, 5 min walk from the station, normally shows the footie if Chelsea are playing.
