What does he do all game?
He is one of the most laziest players ever, he shows so little effort. if the ball is going past him, he makes no effort to get it, and he never gets forward. i have no idea what he does.

Difficult when the ball keeps going 10 ft over your head. He did OK considering.

Him and Spring make our team look lazy and even more of a joke.

I didn't really notice him or Spring, but I don't think it is fair to criticise individual players after that performance, the whole team was poor. We seemed to lack commitment (which we had previously show every game). Some good tackles but that was it, no creativity.

we need a tricky player who is quick and will run at players. mcnamee shows potential. i'd say play him v man city
Francis was shocking, absolutely awful!

Flynn, don't often agree with you but must say you're spot on! Francis WAS starting to turn the corner with his performances against Spurs and Boro but coming back in last night he was back to his usual 'can't be bothered' attitude!
Love Spring, on his day think he's a great player BUT perhaps he's just not good enough at this level!?
I'd play Bangura alongside Mahon for rest of the season! We need to dominate the midfield more and you won't dominate midfields with players like Francis that couldn't care less! Little Al would run his socks off all day for the club as would Mahon!

I think Al is great and it is time for him to be unleashed on the Premiership (like an angry Jack Russell)!
My concern is his discipline – he often throws himself into tackles which he can’t win and risks causing himself an injury. He also probably has a high yellow card – appearance ratio and will not be popular with Premiership referees!
However I think the way he gets stuck in is one of the reasons I think he is so great!

Not to name names but if the midfield are getting neck ache watching the ball fly over their heads why didn't one of them push forward to pick up any of the loose balls knocked down by our forwards or their defenders. Not once did we have a midfielder running on to a loose ball. If we're going to play that way we need someone playing behind the forwards to do just that. Gav was the only midfielder to come out of that game with any creditability but please Gav have a pop at goal if you get an opening.
i would go with Bang and Gav at City just to have a look.
then either bang and spring or Bang and francis for reading.
