This THREAD is CLEARLY in the INCORRECT forum.

If I did this, the Bloke-in-Charge would MOVE IT and TELL ME OFF.

I think 2 am is when sky start their razzamatazz with the fight starting at 2am.

How many are staying up / getting up to watch it. I'm hoping too although I have a good track record of falling asleep just before , so will have to set the alarm clock and hope that it's a 4am start

Yes, meant to be a 4am start. Going to watch Graham Earl beat Amir Khan, play a few games of Poker till and then back to boxing. Glad I didn't getting tickets for the bore draw at Stoke on Sunday and have to leave at 8am!

It is definitely 4am

You can't tell....

Depends on the boxers before hand, if they last all the rounds, and sky don't bug the program with too many adverts it could well be 4am, however if the boxers are a pile of shyte, and fall at the first round or two, and sky take it easy on the adverts it could be 2am-3am.

I agree 15 squids is a bit steep. The reason I have paid for it is becasue it has the potential to be the best fight that I will have seen and I would be kicking myself if I had to wait for the repeats in 3 months time

unlucky hatton.

his downfall was the fact that he walked into too many jabs from mayweather and he showed him too much respect. didnt try enough body shots and didnt stick to his gameplan.

the tw*t ref didnt help either, didnt let it flow at all and always penalised hatton when it wasnt his fault. illegal shots were being landed by mayweather like the use of elbows, forearm and double handed punches. deducted a point from hatton for a punch to the back of the head which didnt even land.

English fans were good all the way through which was good to hear. good news to hear that hatton says he will be back.

he started well when he got mayweather on the ropes and caught him with a good shot to the face which almost sent him tumbling but the point deduction made him throw away his game plan and really try to get at him to win the points back which was also his downfall. If he stuck to his gameplan and used his trademark body shots then im sure he would have had a better chance of winning. shame that he didnt produce but he did all he could.

even though i hate Mayweather so much, gotta take my hat off to him, he faught very well and exploited hattons mistake.

good fight all in all, shame the outcome wasnt the right one:rolleyes:

I gained a lot of respect for Mayweather after the fight, well done sir. A bit of a **** in the build up, but once its all said and done he was gracious and complimentary of our Ricky. And he's a pretty good boxer

Same... went on to say all that talk before the match was just an act, he was focused more than ever and then said how Hatton is fantastic but maybe not at that weight.

Felt the same about Mayweather , although it is easier to be graceous in victory that defeat , as was the case with Hatton who you could see was gurting on the inside.

Hatton came out with the wrong mind set from the start as he was overtly agressive to the point that his face was contorted before the fight had begun. Maywhether on the other hand looked relaxed and more fcoused on how he was going to break Hatton down.

All in all Hatton gave it his everything , if not the way that he had planned for it (as admittted in his interview afterwards) .He proved how much strength and courage he has , and if you were scoring the fight on that alone he would have won by a country mile.

The only thing that the ref got right all night was stopping the fight when he did , the rest of his performance was dire , even docking a point from Hatton for hitting on the back of the head , when the video replay showed that he was in the perfect position to see that Hatton had done nothing wrong.

Did anyone see how distraught his girlfriend was ? I thought she was going to collapse at one point

F**kin shattered, haven't slept :)

Good fight, thought Mayweather would win it, but only thought that on points. Mayweather kept ducking down a bit far, and ref was definately on his side, however he got slightly better as the game got on.

Hatton tried to pressure floyd, but as floyds defensive work is really good, it didn't phase him as much as it would with other boxers. Floyd was so quick and hatton just walked into most punches.

The point deduction didn't help, as i think that unnecessarily (sp?) fired Hatton up more, which in that earlier round (5 or 6?) isn't a good thing as it'll tire him out. Also I didn't think he made contact with his head when that point was deducted, however I guess the intention was there.

Unlucky Ricky, certainly gave it a whole hearted and brave effort.

Also...

Well in Amir !
