im with you, i was expecting a much more increased capacity in the region of 25k+ but the proposal seems sound, i cant quite understand though how come the two vicarage road end corners seem to be having additional seating put in but it deosnt really improve the capacity!! or am i misreading the plans?

Think we are about 18000 or so at the moment. This takes into account the areas that are shut. 22 basically replaces what we had at peak capacity seated. I can only think that there is going to be a bit more space, wider aisles etc as health & safety rules had got stricter.

I expect more detailed plans will be forcoming but it all looks good. I heard on 3counties that the stadium plans will cost 32 million  :o

in the report they have posted they have estimated around 32.5 mil.
I would have thought that they would have put more into getting more seats and less into frills, though the frills will be nice they wont help with long term finances, add the frills in later when we are more secure.

The thing that I find a bit odd is the fact that they are putting in community housing actual underneath the stands? ???
Unless I'm reading the plans wrong which is highly likely.
Also it looks like the Red lion is going to get a big extension and will be a sports bar.
