As there has been no Vbookie event for the Open golf I will be donating 1500 orns to the person / persons that guess both the winner and final score of this years open championship.

If there is no winner the money will be split between everyone that gets one out of the two correct.

Only one guess per person
No edited posts will count
Any guesses after midnight on Saturday 21st July will be ignored.

Didn't take you long to discard Tiger? as you can see I am true to my word and sticking with my pre tournament hunch of El Nino who at the half way stage is still in front.

Although if I am honest i now don't think he will stay there, but fingers crossed;)
Choi is a decent shout.

Big up the young lad from Ni.

Garcia is a good shout, but I am afraid he does not have the bottle on a Sunday, I would love to see him win, but at 27 you would thought he would of won by now.

All depends on the weather , it could get ugly.

Not on BBC till 10am this morning :rant::rant::rant:

Yet first Tee off was 8.30, so by the time the program starts 10 x2 balls will be out and several more will of gone off by the time that tw@t jug ears shuts the feck up.

And why are the bloody highlights on around 7.15 in the evening, straight after being on all day:rant:, I want to watch again after a few beers around 11pm, thank goodness for the Golf Channel.

El Nino still in front:)

Rekon he will stay there if he can play the same solid tee to green golf that he did today .Thought he managed the course well (apart from second at 17) and he was unlucky not to have had more birdes.

Well done to Harrington for finally holding his nerve after that bad 18th hole first time around!

He did the old coming back from miles back to win that I like....

Cheers for the donation!

It was a great tournament, proved a fair bit more exciting than previous years and I did not think Paddy would come through and win it, top man!

your welcome , no one picked paddy and the final score was -7 so it ended up being split three ways .

Was hoping that garcia would win as i had 300,000 shares on him and a possible win bonus.

Just glad that a european player has won again at long last

Don't disagree, but had the roles been reversed I bet sergio would still have gone for the green in 2.

With a two shot lead why take the risk with the history of that hole.

Garcia will learn from that and will be crying in his boyfriends arms tonight, and Harrington should be on his 5th pint of the black stuff.

Why do i have no idea?

The bloke is head strong and would not have played the whole the way harrington did, instead the voices of Seve would have told him to go for it (imo).
